Job summary

Scaleup Connect in Pakistan's textile hub of Sialkot is seeking a skilled Sample Operator to prepare high-quality garment samples per buyer requirements, technical specs, patterns, and production standards. The role covers stitching, development, finishing, and quality-focused execution across sportswear, activewear, workwear, and export garments, with a 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Matric or Intermediate preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Sample Operator in garment manufacturing.
• Experience in sportswear, activewear, workwear, or export garments preferred.
• Ability to read basic patterns, measurements, and sample instructions.
• Ability to work under deadlines and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stitch garment samples according to approved patterns, tech packs, and buyer specifications.
• Work on different garment categories including sportswear, activewear, workwear, and apparel products.
• Support development samples, revised samples, size set samples, and pre-production samples.
• Complete assigned sampling work within required timelines.
• Operate industrial stitching machines efficiently and safely.
• Ensure proper handling of machines, fabrics, trims, and sample materials.
• Maintain sample stitching quality, measurement accuracy, finishing, and overall presentation.
• Coordinate with the Sampling Supervisor, Pattern Master, and Merchandising team for sample requirements.
• Identify stitching, fitting, or construction issues and report them for correction.
• Follow quality, safety, and production standards during sample preparation.

Role Overview

The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in garment stitching, sample development, finishing, and quality-focused execution within the textile apparel manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Stitching & Development

• Stitch garment samples according to approved patterns, tech packs, and buyer specifications.
• Work on different garment categories including sportswear, activewear, workwear, and apparel products.
• Support development samples, revised samples, size set samples, and pre-production samples.
• Complete assigned sampling work within required timelines.

Machine Operation & Finishing

• Operate industrial stitching machines efficiently and safely.
• Ensure proper handling of machines, tools, fabrics, trims, and sample materials.
• Maintain sample stitching quality, measurement accuracy, finishing, and overallpresentation.

Coordination & Quality Support

• Coordinate with the Sampling Supervisor, Pattern Master, and Merchandising team for sample requirements.
• Identify stitching, fitting, or construction issues and report them for correction.
• Follow quality, safety, and production standards during sample preparation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Minimum Matric / Intermediate preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Sample Operator in garment manufacturing.
• Experience in sportswear, activewear, workwear, or export garments will be preferred.
• Ability to read basic patterns, measurements, and sample instructions.
• Ability to work under deadlines and follow supervisor instructions.

Mandatory Skills
