The BDR/SDR is responsible for driving top-of-funnel activity by identifying, researching, and qualifying potential enterprise customers. This role executes structured outbound cadences, conducts light discovery calls, generates high-quality SQLs, and ensures smooth handoffs to the Account Executive team. The BDR/SDR plays a critical role in pipeline generation by targeting industries such as Construction, Logistics, Hospitality, Retail, and other relevant sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & List Building
- Research and develop outbound target lists across key industries such as Construction, Logistics, Hospitality, Retail, etc.
- Segment and tier accounts according to Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria.
- Maintain accurate, updated databases of key contacts and company insights.
- Execute multi-channel outbound cadences including emails, calls, LinkedIn outreach, SMS, mockups, and value-driven messages.
- Follow pre-defined sequencing structures to ensure consistency, quality, and predictable outreach performance.
3. Prospect Qualification
- Conduct light discovery covering pain points, urgency, artwork readiness, compliance needs, and multi-site complexities.
- Identify key challenges such as turnaround delays, consistency issues, procurement bottlenecks, and uniform standardization needs.
- Generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) aligned with AE requirements and company ICP.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Initiate and nurture early-stage relationships with HR, Ops, Procurement, WHS, Site Managers, and Depot/Store Managers.
- Serve as the first point of contact ensuring a warm, professional, and value-based outreach approach.
5. Qualification Calls & Handoffs
- Run 5–10-minute qualification calls to uncover high-level needs and validate fit.
- Provide clean, detailed context to AEs in the CRM for smooth handoff and higher meeting-to-opportunity conversions.
- Prepare or trigger sample packs, mockups, and pilot-introduction steps based on prospect interest.
- Coordinate with design/ops for quick-turn materials if required for nurturing.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene by logging into all outreach activities, updating next steps, tagging ICP tiers, and documenting qualification notes.
- Ensure opportunities are properly handed off with complete data and expected next actions.
- Schedule qualified demos and meetings for AEs ensuring prospects meet minimum qualification thresholds.
- Own top-of-funnel conversion metrics and contribute to predictable pipeline generation.
9. Deep Pain Discovery
- Identify and prove issues such as turnaround delays, artwork approval problems, multiple-site uniform inconsistency, compliance requirements, poor vendor reliability
- Position our value proposition as a solution to these pains, prior to AE handoff.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue targets through consistent SQL generation, qualification accuracy, and progression support.

Background & Qualifications Experience
- 2+ years of SDR or BDR experience in B2B outbound (product-led, agency-led, or service led environments).
- Exposure to supply chain, production, merchandising, or uniform/apparel industries preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong phone presence and confident objection handling.
- Excellent conversational, writing, and outreach skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Pipedrive, or equivalent).
- Ability to follow structured sequences while personalizing communication.
- High resilience, persistence, and ability to achieve daily/weekly outreach targets.
- Strong research, organization, and time-management abilities.
