Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Pakistan is seeking a Safety & Security Associate to support staff safety, planning and movement across designated locations. You will assist with NOC processes, keep security documentation current, and support field operations with safety tools and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of NGO/INGO experience, fluency in Urdu and English, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Security Management, International Relations or Public Administration.
• 2–3 years of NGO/INGO experience preferred.
• Experience liaising with government/LEA and coordinating field activities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support obtaining and tracking NOCs, clearances and permissions for IRC staff and activities.
• Maintain records of government requirements and liaise with authorities.
• Assist with security planning, SRAs, and safety procedures under supervision.
• Provide safety and security support for staff movements and field operations.
• Prepare security updates, incident reports and sitreps for leadership.
