Applause is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to create demos for Account Executives by making outbound calls and sending emails to lead lists. This 100% remote role requires English-language applications and will target SMB prospects with a focus on outbound engagement.

The role emphasizes representing Applause, educating prospects on product value, and scheduling demos to fuel pipeline growth, with opportunities to engage trade show attendees.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of outbound B2B SaaS sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively.
• Experience using CRMs to manage prospecting and pipeline

Responsibilities

• Outbound engagement: focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects
• Product representation: represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product's features and benefits
• Prospect education: help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest
• Demo scheduling: set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth
• Trade show engagement: call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads
