Job summary

Applause is a SaaS start-up seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to create demos for our Account Executives by making outbound calls and sending emails to SMB leads. This is a 100% remote contractor role; English is required.

You'll focus on outbound engagement, represent the product, educate prospects, schedule demos, and nurture trade-show leads. Working 8 hours within 7 AM–7 PM EST, you’ll join a fast-growing team and help grow pipeline.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of outbound B2B SaaS sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with SMB decision-makers.
• Experience with CRMs (HubSpot/Salesforce) to manage pipeline.
• Comfort with 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent time management and follow-up discipline.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Willingness to work an 8-hour shift within 7 AM - 7 PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Outbound Engagement: 80%+ time on calls and emails to SMB prospects.
• Product Representation: Present Applause with integrity and knowledge.
• Prospect Education: Explain value of Applause to drive interest.
• Demo Scheduling: Book qualified demos for AEs to grow pipeline.
• Trade Show Engagement: Reach out to attendees and nurture leads.
