Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare admin tasks focused on insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Knowledge of US payer enrollment and eligibility workflows.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Experience using an EHR or practice-management system.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits for commercial insurance and Medicaid.
• Initiate and track prior authorization requests and communicate with payers.
• Review and document insurance requirements and eligibility for enrollment.
• Update patient charts and billing information in the EHR and clinic systems.
