Job summary

Cepheid is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in Pakistan to provide in-field technical support for diagnostic instruments, installation, and customer training. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Service and global teams to grow business and ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have a Biomedical Engineering or Biology background with molecular biology experience, strong communication, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years related experience.
• Biomedical Engineering or Biology background; molecular biology background advantageous.
• Laboratory experience in molecular/microbiology techniques beneficial.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to network with the scientific community.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-field pre- and post-sale technical support and product demonstrations.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot Cepheid instruments on-site at customer labs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Service to grow Cepheid business and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train customers on systems, software, reagents, and connectivity; manage field inventory.
