Job summary

Roche in Karachi, Pakistan seeks a Field Service Engineer to drive on-site installations, provide hands-on technical support, and ensure equipment reliability for core lab customers. You will work across pre- and post-sales processes, training users and delivering timely service.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Bio Medical & Electronics, 3–4 years' experience with laboratory instruments, is fluent in English and Urdu, travels as needed, and is comfortable with irregular hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Bio Medical & Electronics.
Hands-on experience with instruments used in Research/Clinical/Hospital labs.
3–4 years of experience minimum.
Well-organized with strong planning and prioritization.
Willing to travel and work irregular hours.
Fluent in English & Urdu.

Responsibilities

Support pre- and post-sales processes with technical expertise and services.
Lead on-site installations and urgent repair projects with swift resolutions.
Advise customers and colleagues on best use and maintenance of instruments/equipment.
Implement instruments on customer sites and provide training for proper use.
Provide on-site and remote phone support for troubleshooting and servicing.
Perform preventive maintenance following defined standards.
