Job summary

Labex (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a motivated Biomedical Engineering intern to join our team in Islamabad.

The role offers hands-on experience supporting the design, maintenance, and optimization of biomedical devices used in lab settings. You will assist in installing, calibrating, and testing laboratory equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and contribute to documentation and safety compliance under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Biomedical Engineering or related program (2nd/3rd year preferred).
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment and SolidWorks.
• Ability to document and write clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, calibrating, and testing laboratory biomedical equipment under senior engineer supervision.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations on diagnostic tools and instruments.
• Support product improvement projects, including data collection, literature reviews, and simple experiment design for lab enhancements.
• Collaborate with the team on documentation and safety compliance.
