Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong cost planning and cost management skills across project lifecycles.
• Familiarity with BOQ preparation, tendering processes, and cost reporting.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Quantity Surveyor role based in Islāmābād, Pakistan. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimates, and tender documents for residential and commercial projects. The role involves monitoring project costs, tracking variations, and ensuring all work remains within approved budgets and contractual requirements. The Quantity Surveyor will support cost planning from pre‑contract to post‑contract stages, verify contractor bills, and assist in procurement and contract administration. The position also includes regular cost reporting, coordination with project managers, engineers, and finance teams, and contributing to value engineering and risk management to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in cost planning and cost management to support budgeting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take‑offs, and measurement for residential and commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting to track expenditures, manage variations, and produce clear, timely cost summaries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, tendering processes, and local building regulations in Pakistan.
• Ability to work on‑site with project teams, strong analytical and numerical skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS or cost management software.
• Previous experience in real estate development or building construction projects is an advantage.
