Job summary

Linkers International seeks a detail-oriented Quantity Survey Manager to oversee commercial, estimation, and costing operations for civil/construction projects in Islamabad. You will own cost estimations, BOQ preparation, and contract administration to ensure financial efficiency.

Responsibilities include reviewing BOQs/tenders, managing the commercial lifecycle from feasibility to closeout, and supervising subcontractors with PIN-based invoices and rate analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or DAE in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation.
• Experience in reviewing detailed BOQs, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Familiarity with PEC or FIDIC contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commercial lifecycle of construction projects from feasibility to final account.
• Perform precise material take-offs from drawings and prepare BOQs.
• Lead subcontractor management including pre-qualifications and monthly invoices.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, and rate analyses for clients/consultants.
• Monitor project cash flows and budgets, identifying cost overruns and value engineering opportunities.
• Administer contracts per PEC or FIDIC guidelines and manage disputes.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Quantity Survey Manager to oversee our commercial, estimation, and costing operations. You will manage the entire commercial lifecyle of our projects, taking full ownership of cost estimations, Bill of Quantities (BOQs) preparation, and contract administration to ensure maximum financial efficiency.

• Review, and finalization of detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Manage the commercial and financial lifecycle of civil and construction projects from initial feasibility to final account closeout.
• Conduct precise material take-offs and measurements from engineering drawings and architectural blueprints.
• Oversee subcontractor management, including evaluating pre-qualifications, reviewing work progress, and certifying interim monthly invoices.
• Formulate comprehensive variation orders, claim analysis, and rate analysis for submission to clients and consultants.
• Monitor project cash flows and budgets, highlighting potential cost overruns and identifying value engineering opportunities.
• Administer contracts strictly according to PEC or FIDIC guidelines, handling disputes, contractual correspondence, and risk assessments.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree or DAE in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering.
• Bring 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, and cost estimation within the construction sector.
• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in analyzing BOQs, rate analysis, and managing local material market dynamics in Pakistan.
