Job summary

Amanah Group in Lahore seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage estimation, take-offs, cost analysis, and commercial aspects of MEP and Civil works for high-rise projects.

You will review estimates, prepare/audit BOQs, handle interim payments, verify sub-contractor bills, monitor material consumption, and report to Head of Audit. 10+ years’ experience and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying for high-rise construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit project estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
• Preparation and audit of interim payment certificates based on work completed at the site.
• Verification of sub-contractor bills and administration of payments through petty cash.
• Prepare/verify comprehensive BOQs.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and other resources.
• Prepare/audit Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Perform cost analysis and procurement evaluations.
• Monitor material consumption and conduct material reconciliation.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and commercial impacts.
• Ensure accuracy in project costing and financial reporting.
• Prepare findings and reports for the Head of Audit.
