Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) in Karachi, invites applications for Manager/Assistant Manager to lead planning, coordination, and administration of a UNICEF-funded project in education.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s in social or natural sciences, 5–7 years’ experience in educational development, strong leadership, reporting, and English/Urdu communication; willingness to travel and supervise staff.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in social or natural science from a reputable university.
• 5–7 years of demonstrated experience in management of educational development/improvement.
• Experience managing educational development projects, preferably in education.
• Experience supervising project staff and ensuring task completion.
• Ability to design and execute capacity-building programmes for education stakeholders.
• Strong progress monitoring and report-writing skills.

Mansioni

• Provide administrative support to the project and manage day-to-day activities.
• Support financial and HR management of the project.
• Lead planning, execution, and coordination of capacity-building programmes.
• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and events.
• Coordinate with UNICEF and government departments on project activities.
• Lead documentation, reporting, and knowledge products for the project.
• Supervise project staff and liaise with AKU-IED units and university departments.
