Job summary

UNDP Pakistan is seeking a Project Engineering Analyst to provide specialized engineering support for infrastructure rehabilitation, refurbishment and solarisation under the Rule of Law Programme. The role involves technical planning, site assessments and ensuring quality and safety across locations.

The Engineer will liaise with government counterparts, contractors and programme teams to deliver energy-efficient, accessible and compliant infrastructure, with regular travel to programme sites in

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related engineering field is required.
• A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above, in combination with an additional 2 years of qualifying experience, will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
• Fluency in English and Urdu languages (spoken and written) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning, design, supervision and quality assurance for infrastructure rehabilitation, refurbishment, facility-improvement and solarisation interventions.
• Conduct technical assessments and prepare engineering designs and documentation.
• Supervise implementation and ensure quality of infrastructure works.
• Maintain site records and ensure health, safety and environmental requirements during implementation.
