Job summary

UNDP Pakistan in its Rule of Law Programme seeks a Project Engineering Analyst to provide technical planning, design, supervision and QA for infrastructure rehabilitation and solarization projects. The role involves site and energy assessments, preparing designs and bills of quantities, procurement input, bid reviews, and supervising works to ensure safety, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Education and PEC registration are important, with 2+ years (Masters) or 4 years (Bachelor's) experience

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural/Construction/Architectural Engineering or equivalent with required experience.
• Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is desirable.
• Additional certifications in construction management, project management, or renewable energy are advantageous.
• Minimum two years (Master's) or four years (Bachelor's) of relevant civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning, design, supervision, and quality assurance for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site and energy assessments; prepare designs and bills of quantities.
• Provide input for procurement; evaluate bids and review contractor submissions.
• Supervise implementation, monitor quality, verify progress and certify completed tasks.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover; maintain project documentation.
• Provide engineering coordination, risk management and technical advice to programme management and stakeholders.
