Job summary

Amreli Steels Limited is seeking a production professional for a shift-based role in its rolling mill operations. The candidate should hold a BE in Mechanical/Industrial Manufacturing and have 2–3 years of experience in handling operations within a production department.

Responsibilities include executing production plans, enforcing SOPs and lean principles, supervising workers, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute production plans according to SOPs and lean principles.
• Identify and suggest improvements to procedures for production, quality and safety.
• Ensure smooth operations of the rolling mill (WHF, rolling mill and handling area).
• Execute daily tasks delegated by supervisor per SOPs.
• Supervise and assign tasks to workers daily.
• Troubleshoot production/maintenance issues.
• Report all activities in the log book.
• Assist supervisor with reports and data entry for production/maintenance.
• Ensure product quality.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.

Experience: 2 to 3 years experience of handling operations of a production department.

Job Responsibilities:

• - Execute production plans effectively according to standard operating procedures, lean manufacturing principles and ensure compliance.
• - Identify and suggest ways to improve the procedures to improve productions, quality and safety.
• - Ensure smooth operations of the rolling mill (WHF, rolling mill and handling area)
• - Execute Daily tasks delegated by Immediate Supervisor as per available SOPs
• - Supervision and assigning tasks to workers on daily basis
• - Troubleshooting activities related to production/ maintenance
• - Reporting of all activities in log book
• - Assist Immediate supervisor for generation of reports and data entry related to production/ maintenance
• - Ensure quality of product
• - Ensure proper housekeeping
• - Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulation
