Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited invites applications for a Trainee Engineer in Electrical/Electronics. Based at Steel Division, Nooriabad, the program leads to Assistant Engineer after successful training.

The role covers maintenance planning, process improvements, and hands-on work with PLCs, motors, and HMIs, with exposure to Oracle modules and coils of manufacturing standards. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BSc/BE in Industrial Electronics, Electronics or Electrical from PEC-recognized university with min 3.0 CGPA.
• Fresh graduate; age up to 25 years.
• Location: Steel Division, Nooriabad; training leading to Assistant Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans for production machines.
• Assess electrical/electronic problems and suggest improvements.
• Learn gas cutting and manual electric arc welding techniques.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC motors and drives.
• Compute raw material requirements and machine hours; wastage calculations.
• Study Oracle manufacturing modules: quality, inventory, SCM.
• Prepare daily/monthly departmental reports.
• Study pipe coating standards API-5L, DIN30670.
• Understand spiral pipe mill operation; prepare purchase requisitions.
• Handle load/power distribution and consumer reporting.

This position is responsible for production, production planning, quality management, man management, monitoring and improving manufacturing processes. After successful completion of the training period, the Trainee Engineer will be confirmed as Assistant Engineer. Standard (not exhaustive) requirements of the position are listed below:

Job Description

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and carry out maintenance activities for machines involved in the production process of coating and pipe plant in coordination with Line Manager.
• Assess and evaluate any electrical/electronic problems or issues and suggest improvements/modifications to enhance the reliability and efficiency of machines.
• Learn gas cutting and manual electric arc welding techniques and good practices.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and rectification of problems of PLCs and HMI Systems, AC/DC motors and drives,
• Working and calculation of raw materials.
• Study and understand Oracle financial manufacturing module, quality plan, inventory module, supply chain module, etc.
• Prepare departmental daily/monthly reports.
• Work out the raw material requirements, machine hours, calculation of wastages etc.
• Study and understand the working process/adjustments of end facing and hydro testing machine and its trouble shooting.
• Study pipe manufacturing and coating standards like API-5L, DIN30670.
• Study and learn operation of spiral pipe mill and other manufacturing and testing equipment's.Prepare purchase requisition for material required for the production department.
• Load and power distribution, consumer reporting

Terms And Conditions

• Bond: PKR 300,000 for a period 2 years.
• Vestment: PKR 6,000/month for a period of 3 years, refundable upon completion.
• Relocation to Nooriabad Factory.
