Job summary

TCP Software is seeking a Product Owner to lead market research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into actionable product requirements. The role will manage the backlog, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate releases with Product Marketing to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate has a 3–5 year track record as a Business/Product Analyst or Product Owner, with experience in Workforce or HCM products, and strong Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business/Product Analyst or Product Owner.
• Workforce or HCM product experience.
• Strong analytical and product management skills.
• Experience interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Agile & Scrum experience.
• Drive to create excellent market leading user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze market, customer use cases, and competitor products to identify problems and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to build and deliver high-quality products.
• Translate business needs and use cases into executable product requirements and user stories for the development team.
• Be responsible for the product backlog grooming, clearly expressing the product backlog items, and prioritizing the items to best achieve our product goals within a scrum framework
• Define the user story acceptance criteria and ensure “definition of done” is aligned with the development team
• Coordinate product release and launch activities with Product Marketing
• Scheduling and leading meetings to identify product issues, managing product roadmaps, and completing daily goals and schedules to meet project deadlines.

As a Product Owner, you will

• Workforce or HCM experience product experience.
• Strong analytical and product management skills.
