Job summary

Venus Group of Companies is seeking a Procurement Officer to join their Lahore team. You will develop procurement strategies, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchasing records while ensuring compliance and efficiency across departments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in procurement, a bachelor’s degree in SCM or business, strong analytical and negotiating skills, and excellent communication. CPSM certification is a plus; position is on-site in Lahore.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in negotiating terms and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence complex negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, and selection.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to achieve cost-effectiveness and high-quality services.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier practices.
• Ensure the procurement process follows regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, invoice verification, and payment processes.
• Conduct regular supplier audits to assess performance and compliance.
• Keep detailed records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement documentation.
