Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking a skilled procurement professional to support the order management head in planning, supervising, and monitoring the procurement of goods, supplies, equipment, and containers from local sources.

The role emphasizes vendor management, compliance with PPRA rules, and developing procurement plans, with escalation to senior management as needed. MBA in Supply Chain and CSCP credentials are preferred; 9+ years experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• MBA preferably in Supply Chain from a HEC-recognized university with at least 9 years of experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Functional/Team Lead.
• CSCP or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience of PPRA rules and regulations is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in formulation of procurement policies and procedures applicable to local purchases.
• Manage the development of procurement plans / schedules in coordination with user departments.
• Ensure quantity requirements and specifications meet user needs and obtain approvals for changes.
• Ensure tender announcements are made per SSGCL policy and PPRA rules.
• Review evaluations of bids and ensure compliance with PPRA schedules.
• Supervise real time tracking data of local purchases and digitization modules.
• Prepare accurate reports for senior management.
• Maintain and update suppliers database and timely information sharing.
