Role Description

The Procurement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Arifwala, responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for agricultural and warehousing operations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying reliable suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role involves negotiating contracts and terms, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation. The Procurement Officer will collaborate closely with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to align procurement plans with inventory needs, budget constraints, and quality standards. The position also requires continuous market research to optimize costs, minimize risks, and support the company’s commitment to transparent, efficient supply management.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Procurement and Purchasing, with experience managing sourcing activities and vendor relationships.
• Ability to handle Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, and reconciliation within established policies and procedures.
• Experience in Contract Negotiation, with the ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining long-term supplier partnerships.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess pricing, quality, and supply risks, and to support data-driven decision-making.
• Relevant education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Agriculture, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
• Knowledge of agricultural commodities, warehousing operations, and inventory management practices is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and procurement or ERP software, and strong attention to detail in documentation.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
