Job summary

Pakistan Tobacco Company seeks a Process Lead - SMD in Akora Khattak, Pakistan. You will coach IWS and TPM deployment, own centerline and changeover standards, and lead root-cause analysis to reduce losses across production lines.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background and strong hands-on knowledge of continuous improvement systems, with excellent coaching and communication skills to train and develop teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledgebase and practical experience on continuous improvement systems: IWS, WCM, TPM and Six Sigma.
• Good understanding of mechanical processes, both hands-on and theoretical.

Responsibilities

• Act as coach and lead on IWS capability building and systems deployment for the department.
• Act as deployment lead for Autonomous Maintenance Pillar tools and systems.
• Owning the Centerline Management system for the line(s).
• Training team members on documentation needed when running out of CL.
• Establishing Changeover standards for all product SKUs.
• Reviewing Changeover critiques and coaching shift teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities to achieve CO success criteria.
• Owning the Change Management DMS & validation processes, including process benchmarking & reapplication across processes, modules and plants.
• Analyzing line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities including creation of current state and future state loss trees utilizing tools such as loss allocation and S-shape.
• Leading root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the line(s).
