Job summary

Pakistan Tobacco Company, part of BAT, seeks a Warehouse Officer in Jhelum, Pakistan to oversee warehouse operations and inventory management. The role involves developing strategies, monitoring stock, ensuring quality control, and guiding a team.

You will work to optimize storage, maintain accurate records, and ensure regulatory compliance while leveraging SAP ERP WM/MM/PP and related systems. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of supply chain and warehousing aspects.
• Experience with SAP ERP in WM, MM, PP modules.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies and policies.
• Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure stock availability.
• Oversee receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for materials.
• Optimize layout and storage systems for space utilization.
• Maintain documentation related to stock movements and records.
• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and workflows.
