Job summary

Pakistan Tobacco Company is seeking a Process Lead - SMD in Akora Khattak, Pakistan to coach and lead continuous improvement initiatives, deploy IWS and TPM tools, and own Centerline and changeover standards on the line.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering and has hands-on and theoretical knowledge of mechanical processes, strong communication, and the ability to train teams and drive loss elimination through data-driven root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement systems (IWS, WCM, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Hands-on and theoretical understanding of mechanical processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train others.
• Understanding of storeroom operating strategies.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead IWS capability building and systems deployment for the department.
• Deploy Autonomous Maintenance Pillar tools and systems.
• Own the Centerline Management system for the line(s).
• Train team members on documentation needed when running out of CL.
• Establish Changeover standards for all product SKUs.
• Review Changeover critiques and coach shift teams to identify and implement improvements for CO success criteria.
• Own Change Management DMS & validation processes, including benchmarking & reapplication across processes, modules and plants.
• Analyze line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities including loss trees (current vs future state).
• Lead root cause problem solving for key chronic losses on the line(s).
