Job summary

REAPHR in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef with 4–5 years of senior pastry leadership to oversee premium pastry production for a luxury restaurant.

You will master artisan breads, sourdough, croissants, and desserts; supervise daily pastry operations, ensure portion control, and maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.

UAE/GCC experience preferred; offers salary PKR 230,000–280,000 monthly plus housing, transportation, medical insurance, and annual flight ticket.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef.
• Hands-on expertise in artisan breads and sourdough production.
• Expert in croissant preparation, lamination, and proofing techniques.
• Experience in pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Strong baking, decorating, finishing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to oversee daily pastry production and coordinate kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of ingredient management, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Food safety and kitchen hygiene knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee production of premium pastries, cakes, and breads.
• Develop sourdough starters, fermentation, proofing, and baking processes.
• Produce croissants and laminated pastries using professional lamination methods.
• Follow standardised recipes to maintain consistency in taste and appearance.
• Ensure accurate measurements, portions, and specifications.
• Oversee daily pastry prep, baking, decorating, and finishing.
• Create dessert presentations and introduce new pastry products.
• Coordinate daily pastry kitchen operations and production schedules.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Monitor inventory, storage, and wastage; ensure food safety compliance.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow; maintain productivity during busy periods.
