Job summary

REAP Recruitment & HR Consultancy in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef for a premium restaurant. The candidate will lead artisan bread production, sourdough, croissants, desserts, and manage pastry kitchen operations.

The role requires 4-5 years experience, prior UAE or GCC experience, and a strong background in bakery standards, with a monthly salary of PKR 230,000-280,000.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as Executive or Senior Pastry Chef.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience mandatory.
• Expertise in artisan breads and sourdough.
• Strong croissant production and lamination skills.
• Experience in premium hotels or luxury restaurants is a plus.
• Ability to oversee daily pastry production and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of premium pastries, cakes, desserts, croissants, and breads.
• Maintain sourdough starter, fermentation, proofing, and baking.
• Prepare laminated pastries using professional lamination methods.
• Develop and follow standardised recipes for consistency in taste and texture.
• Ensure accurate ingredient measurements and portion control.
• Manage daily pastry preparation, baking, decorating, and finishing.
• Create attractive dessert presentations and introduce new pastry items.
• Coordinate daily pastry kitchen operations and production schedules.
• Monitor quality, freshness, and presentation; ensure hygiene and safety.
