Job summary

REAP Recruitment & HR Consultancy is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef in Lahore, Pakistan for a premium restaurant. The role requires strong expertise in artisan breads, sourdough, croissants, and desserts, with proven pastry kitchen leadership.

Responsibilities include overseeing pastry production, maintaining quality and presentation, and ensuring food safety and efficient kitchen operations. UAE/GCC experience is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef.
• Experience in UAE or GCC countries is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on expertise in artisan breads and sourdough production.
• Excellent knowledge of croissant preparation, dough lamination, and proofing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pastry production including premium pastries, cakes, desserts, croissants and artisan breads.
• Maintain quality, presentation and consistency across all pastries and desserts.
• Manage daily pastry kitchen operations and production schedules.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the pastry section.
• Monitor inventory, portion control and waste, and coordinate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow.
• Develop and introduce new pastry items and dessert presentations.
