Job summary

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressed air, RO/CEDI, purified water systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Systems knowledge: SAP PM, maintenance documentation, GMP requirements, and utility monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation and continuous availability of plant utility systems.
• Execute maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment failures, and minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance plans, and equipment records in SAP.
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards, SOPs, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Monitor HVAC performance and maintain temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions.
• Operate and maintain water treatment, distribution, and steam systems for reliability and compliance.
• Implement energy optimization measures to reduce costs and improve safety.
• Prepare utility performance reports and coordinate with departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate utility technicians, allocate maintenance tasks, and ensure effective shift handovers.
