Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support US payroll operations in Lahore. The role involves running payroll processing jobs, auditing, and handling payroll tax activities, while ensuring accuracy across multi-state payrolls.

You will collaborate with the Payroll Manager on audits, system upgrades, and year-end tasks. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in-house payroll experience, with proficiency in Workday and UKG/Kronos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; in-house HR/Payroll software experience preferred (Workday).
• 1–3 years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state US payroll; UKG/Kronos knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, gross-to-net processes, and W-2 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Run biweekly and off-cycle payroll processing for US and Canada with validations.
• Manage payroll input entries: earnings, deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
• Audit tax and wage variances with tax vendor and determine if amendments are needed.
• Review tax correspondence and forward to vendor or take appropriate action.
• Perform worksite reporting and quarterly/annual payroll tax audits including W-2 processing.
• Assist Payroll Manager with year-end processes, testing, and special projects.
• Prepare manual checks, payroll history adjustments, and file uploads.
• Support UKG/Kronos timecard audits and respond to payroll inquiries via HR ticketing system.

## Payroll AnalystApply: Corporate Office - Pakistan: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R000031916**Location:**Lahore,## ## **Job Summary:**Payroll Analyst will be responsible for supporting U.S. payroll operations, including running payroll processing jobs, auditing, and supporting internal payroll processes and procedures, as well as handling payroll tax activities and performing account reconciliations. This position supports The Children's Place U.S. and Canada payroll function.## **Responsibilities:**Key Accountabilities:* Run biweekly and off-cycle payroll processing jobs for US and Canada payrolls, and performing various validation steps throughout the process to ensure an accurate and successful payroll run, including payroll completion and settlement, and other post payroll third party interface jobs* Responsible for payroll input entry including earnings, deductions, benefits, and garnishments, as well as net pay processing including stop payments, ACH returns, and replacement checks* Review and audit tax and wage variances identified by tax vendor, and work with account representative for resolution and make determination if amended returns are required to correct variances or if employee payroll history needs to be corrected* Review all tax correspondence received and take appropriate action to respond directly or forward notices to tax vendor for resolution* Complete multiple worksite reporting* Perform ongoing audits to ensure the accuracy and reporting of employee taxable wages and withholdings on quarterly returns and annual W2 reporting; Process W-2cs as necessary* Assist Payroll Manager in compiling information to satisfy internal/external payroll tax audit requests* Assist Payroll Manager in configuration and system upgrade testing* Prepare, review, and approve manual checks to ensure payment accuracy* Prepare payroll history adjustments, gross ups, file uploads, etc.* Partner with Payroll Management in performing year end processes and/or special projects/tasks as needed* Complete payroll tax adjustments associated with restricted stock and non-qualified stock transactions* Responsible for weekly UKG/Kronos timecard audits* Respond to associate payroll inquiries through HR ticketing system**Education and Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree* 1-3 years of experience working with an in-house HR/Payroll software application, preferably Workday* UKG/Kronos knowledge preferred* BSI e-Forms knowledge preferred* Experience working in a high volume, multi-state (U.S.), multi-province (Canada), multiple FEIN tax structure* Understanding of all components of gross to net payroll**Skills and Behaviors:*** Extensive knowledge of U.S. payroll tax compliance laws* Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills* Strong analytical and problem solving skills* High proficiency in Microsoft Office ; advanced Excel proficiency* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities
