Job summary

Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) in Karachi is seeking an Oracle EBS HCM Functional Consultant to provide production support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 HCM, focusing on Core HR and Payroll, and resolving issues within SLA timelines.

You will translate business requirements into functional solutions, prepare specs, and collaborate with technical teams, users, and AMS staff to ensure smooth HR and Payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 HCM.
• Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and end-to-end workflows.
• Experience in Production Support / AMS environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS R12 HCM applications.
• Support Oracle Core HR and Payroll modules and related processes.
• Troubleshoot functional, transactional, and application issues.
• Analyze HR/Payroll errors and configuration problems.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with technical teams on functional specs and changes.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Manage HR/Payroll testing, deployments, and releases.
• Ensure incidents and service requests meet SLA timelines.
• Prepare functional docs and user guides.
• Support and validate HR accounting flows where applicable.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for enhancements.
