Job summary

JBS is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials & P2P Functional Consultant to provide hands-on support for EBS R12 Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P processes. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and onsite presence in Karachi, Pakistan.

Candidate will troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver timely fixes and functional improvements within defined SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12 experience in Financials/P2P.
• Experience in production support or AMS environments is preferred.
• Oracle Financials and P2P process knowledge; Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS R12 Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P modules.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and processes.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials & P2P Functional Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing application support, troubleshooting functional and transaction‑related issues, working closely with business users and technical teams, performing root‑cause analysis, and ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLA timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional application support for Oracle EBS R12 Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P modules.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, service requests, and functional issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot transactional and process‑related issues across Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P.
• Work closely with business users to understand issues, requirements, and process challenges.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and recommend appropriate functional solutions.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve system issues and ensure timely delivery of technical fixes.
• Analyze Oracle EBS accounting flows and transaction accounting to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support and troubleshoot Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) business processes.
• Configure and maintain Oracle EBS functional setups based on approved business requirements.
• Support business users during system changes, enhancements, testing, and issue resolution.
• Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), where required.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and issue‑resolution records.
• Prepare functional specifications and communicate requirements clearly to technical teams for development or customization.
• Support Oracle EBS workflows and AME (Approvals Management Engine) configurations, where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, system usage, and overall application performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and related business processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience working with Oracle EBS R12, preferably in Financials, Purchasing, Inventory, and P2P.
• Proven experience in Oracle EBS production support or AMS environments.
• Practical experience with Oracle Financials and P2P processes.
• Oracle EBS Financials/SCM certification will be considered an advantage.
