Job summary

XAutonomous LLC. is seeking a Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure quality across web, mobile, API, and enterprise software. You will design test scenarios, execute tests, and contribute to automation using modern frameworks.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on testing experience, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and ability to work independently with developers, analysts, and product teams in a fast-paced environment in Karachi.

Qualifications

2–4 years of professional SQA or Software Testing experience.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum.
Hands-on testing of web and mobile applications (manual).
Experience with API testing and test automation tools.
Ability to design test scenarios, cases, and defect reports.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and translate them into test scenarios and cases.
Create and execute detailed test plans and checklists.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Test web and mobile apps across browsers, devices, OS, and screen sizes.
Validate APIs using Postman/Swagger and monitor responses and error handling.
Write and execute automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Maintain testing documentation and provide clear status reports.
Assist juniors and promote consistent QA practices.
