Job summary

Codelabs in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking an experienced QA engineer to shape test strategy, automate web and API tests, and validate mobile apps across real devices. You will own the defect lifecycle and drive release quality with cross‑browser checks and performance validation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software QA across web and mobile projects.
• Hands-on test automation experience with at least one modern framework.

• Strong test-case design with evidence of suites and bugs caught.
• Meticulous written bug reports in clear English.
• Based in Karachi; on-site role.

• Test mobile apps across real devices: functional, regression, and release-candidate passes for both stores;


• Run structured QC on deliverables: cross-browser, responsive, performance and data-integrity checks;


• Own defect lifecycle: clear reproducible reports, severity triage, verification of fixes;


• Hold the release gate — sign off before anything reaches a client environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years in software QA across web and mobile projects;


• Hands-on test automation experience with at least one modern framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium);


• API testing skills (Postman, REST clients) and comfort reading logs and browser dev tools;


• Strong test-case design: you can show us suites you've written and the bugs they caught;


• Meticulous written bug reports in clear English — developers act on your reports without a follow-up call;
