Job summary

DPL is seeking a Network Admin Engineer / NOC Specialist to ensure the continuous operation of its global IT infrastructure. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and first-line troubleshooting of network devices, servers, applications, and security systems, in a 24/7 environment.

You will monitor WAN/LAN/WLAN, manage incidents, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to maintain high availability and performance across locations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT operations role.
• Experience with network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, health systems, and security events across WAN, LAN, WLAN and locations.
• Perform initial triage, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of network, server, and application issues.
• Escalate incidents to Level 2/3 support per defined procedures.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ITSM system.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Maintain and update runbooks and knowledge base articles.
• Work in a 24/7 shift rotation with effective handover of duties.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Applications teams to resolve complex issues.
