Job summary

TEKBOOX in Lahore, Pakistan, seeks an IT Support Executive for a permanent onsite role to own L1/L2 support, pfSense firewall administration, Cisco switches, VMware ESXi/vSphere, and Veeam backups across critical infrastructure. Night shifts are required (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).

Ideal candidate will resolve hardware/software tickets, manage Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, VPN tunnels, and collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable, secure IT operations for a US-based BPO enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Network Administration, or related technical discipline.
• 3–4 years of progressive IT support, network administration, or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for Windows clients, hardware, software, and IT peripherals.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN routing, and wireless connectivity.
• Manage pfSense firewalls and Cisco switches; maintain network cabling and core devices.
• Administer Active Directory users, OUs, permissions, security groups, and GPOs.
• Monitor VMware ESXi/vSphere environments and Veeam backup operations.
• Administration of Kerio VPN and CurrentWare policies for secure access.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and issue logs.
• Coordinate with ISPs and hardware vendors for connectivity and RMAs.
