Job summary

SLB is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Islamabad to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and improve maintenance efficiency. The role focuses on maintaining equipment per maintenance programs and improving asset turn‑around time and productivity.

Responsibilities include documentation in TLM systems, adherence to standards, and involvement in failure investigations. 5+ years of experience is required, with broad hands-on expertise in pumps, motors, and related downhole equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with injector systems, stimulation units and downhole equipment.
• Ability to follow maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with TLM or similar lifecycle management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
• Record materials, labor costs and maintenance performance in TLM systems.
• Comply with Division TLM standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement to reduce asset turnaround time and downtime.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Maintenance Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Division's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB) and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Comply with Division TLM standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and return authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System
