Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead hands-on maintenance of CNC machines, robots, and automated lines. You will work with FANUC and SIEMENS controllers and various PLCs to keep equipment running, while following LOTO rules and 5S standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, updating maintenance records in MAXIMO, and contributing to TPM initiatives across all shifts to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• This position may require licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation with 8 to 12 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on maintenance of CNC machines, robots, SPMs, conveyors and related equipment.
• Experience with FANUC, SIEMENS controllers and PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R).
• Adhere to LOTO, safety rules, PPEs and norms; maintain 5S in machine shop.
• Update shop breakdown history and analysis; resolve daily machine issues.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports; execute CM/PM/EM in MAXIMO system.
• Participate in TPM teams to improve KPIs and safety; support uptime and MTBF targets.
• Operate across all three shifts; ensure safe, efficient machine shop operations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Ensure Adherence to LOTO rules, Safety Rules, PPE’s & norms as per the requirement.


• Maintain 5S Score in machine shop & Plant Engg. Dept.


• Ensure adherence to all safety & discipline norms.


• Handle day-to-day maintenance activities & issues in Machine shop area & able to work in all 3 shifts.


• Ensure to update shop breakdown history & analysis.


• Resolve daily Machine, Equipment related breakdown issues.


• Preparation & keeping of various maintenance reports.


• Execute EM \\ PD \\ CM & Update in Cummins MAXIMO System


• Undertake projects related for Improving Maint. KPIs.


• Maintain & Improve Housekeeping standards with discipline of the work force.


• LOTO, Risk assessments, work permits & Safety practices implementation in Machine Shop.


• Maintaining the Uptime/ MTBF/MTTR of all critical equipment.


• Should be Familiar with Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems
