Job summary

The Citizens Foundation invites an experienced educator to lead the design and continuous improvement of the secondary mathematics curriculum, aligning with Federal Board requirements and organizational goals. You will shape standards, learning progressions, and assessment systems while ensuring coherence from primary to secondary grades.

You will develop instructional resources, review benchmarks, mentor teachers, and collaborate across teams to drive evidence-based improvements and measurable

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in mathematics curriculum design or educational program development.
• Experience in teacher development and curriculum implementation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of the secondary mathematics curriculum, including standards, learning progressions, scope and sequence.
• Develop and review instructional resources, assessments, and technology-enabled supports to promote deep understanding and higher-order thinking.
• Ensure curriculum coherence from primary through secondary grades and readiness for STEM learning.
• Collaborate with teams to implement the curriculum and drive classroom impact.
• Review national and international curricula to benchmark quality and relevance.
