Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and professional experience.
• 8+ years of procurement, tendering or contract administration experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contractual procedures, notices, claims, variations and commercial documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate procurement and contracting actions per plans, budgets and procedures.
• Support preparation and review of tender documents, bid evaluations, awards and contractual correspondence.
• Interpret contractual provisions and advise on rights, obligations, liabilities, timelines, and compliance.
• Manage notices, variations, claims, EOT matters, performance issues and close-out docs.
• Maintain contract registers, securities, insurance records, deliverables, milestones and risk register.
• Coordinate with project, finance, quantity surveying, consultants, contractors and suppliers on contract matters.

The Manager - Contracts shall manage tendering and contract administration for the projects and safeguard the organization’s contractual and commercial interests through disciplined management of obligations, records, notices, variations, claims, and contractual risks.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. B
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, tendering, or contract administration for construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of contractual procedures, notices, claims, variations, and commercial documentation.

• Prepare and coordinate procurement and contracting actions in accordance with approved plans, specifications, budgets, procedures, and delegated powers.
• Support preparation and review of tender documents, bid evaluations, recommendations, awards, agreements, and contractual correspondence.
• Interpret contractual provisions and advise the PMU on rights, obligations, liabilities, timelines, and compliance requirements.
• Manage notices, variations, claims, extension-of-time matters, performance issues, and contract close-out documentation.
• Maintain contract registers, securities, insurance records, deliverables, milestones, correspondence, and a contractual risk register.
• Coordinate with project, finance, quantity surveying, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
