Job summary

TectSoft, a Lahore-based software company, seeks a Junior Videographer & Video Editor to capture and edit engaging content for social media and marketing. You’ll work on office events, company culture, and promotional videos, building visual stories with a creative eye and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities include shooting, editing for multiple platforms, adding music and effects, and delivering content that aligns with brand guidelines. A portfolio and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in videography and video editing.
• A portfolio or sample videos showcasing your work.
• Basic knowledge of camera handling, framing, and composition.
• Familiarity with lighting and audio recording.
• Good video editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or YouTube content.
• Basic knowledge of transitions, effects, subtitles, and sound editing.
• Creativity and an eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn new tools and improve skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Shoot videos for social media, company activities, and promotional content.
• Record office events, team activities, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Add music, transitions, text, subtitles, and basic effects to videos.
• Handle basic camera setup, lighting, and audio recording.
• Create engaging short-form videos based on given ideas and requirements.
• Help turn creative ideas into video content.
• Resize and edit videos according to different social media formats.
• Organize video footage and editing files.
• Make changes to videos based on feedback.
• Keep up with social media trends and suggest creative content ideas.
• Work with the marketing and design teams to create content for the company.
