Job summary

MotionOx is an Islamabad-based video production studio seeking a skilled Video Editor. You will shape footage into polished content across formats, working from briefs and direction, managing edits through reviews, and delivering assets on schedule.

You should have strong storytelling, pacing, and shot-selection skills for both short-form and long-form content, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software. A portfolio demonstrating relevant edits is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience editing video across short-form and long-form formats.
• Ability to interpret briefs and apply feedback.
• Proficient in editing for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube.
• Knowledge of audio cleanup, music selection, and basic color correction.
• Familiarity with motion graphics workflows is a plus.

The team produces UGC, Meta and TikTok advertisements, YouTube videos, and short-form content for Reels and Shorts, as well as commercials, educational and course edits, documentaries, event films, wedding films, motion graphics, and animation. We value clean editing, dependable turnaround, and clear communication throughout production.

We are seeking a Video Editor to shape footage into polished, audience-focused content across a range of formats. You will work from briefs and creative direction, manage edits through review, and deliver finished assets on schedule.

• Review footage and project briefs, then build clear, compelling edits suited to each platform and audience.
• Edit short-form social content, UGC and paid advertisements, YouTube videos, commercials, and longer-form projects.
• Improve pacing and continuity with thoughtful use of cuts, transitions, music, sound, titles, and motion graphics.
• Organize project files, follow naming and versioning practices, and incorporate client or team feedback accurately.
• Export final videos to the required specifications, aspect ratios, and delivery formats while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with producers and creative teammates to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and meet agreed deadlines.

Job Specification

• Practical video editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
• Strong visual storytelling, pacing, continuity, and shot-selection skills for both short-form and long-form video.
• Ability to edit social ads and platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
• Working knowledge of audio cleanup, music selection, basic color correction, titles, and transitions.
• Familiarity with motion graphics workflows and tools such as Adobe After Effects is an advantage.
• Careful file organization, version control, export settings, and attention to detail across multiple projects.
