Job summary

Abacus Lahore is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support enterprise software and digital transformation projects. The role focuses on coordinating software delivery with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and quality.

The candidate should have a solid SDLC/Agile understanding and experience using project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, or ClickUp, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, IT, Business Information Systems, or related field.
2–4 years of experience managing or coordinating software delivery/IT projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring software implementation and digital transformation projects.
Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, risk registers, and status reports.
Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource utilization.
Facilitate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on actions.
Support requirement gathering, scope management, and change tracking.
Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
Collaborate with delivery managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
