Job summary

Abacus Lahore is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support enterprise software and digital transformation projects. The role focuses on coordinating software delivery with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and quality.

The candidate should have a solid SDLC/Agile understanding and experience using project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, or ClickUp, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, IT, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience managing or coordinating software delivery/IT projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring software implementation and digital transformation projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, risk registers, and status reports.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource utilization.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on actions.
• Support requirement gathering, scope management, and change tracking.
• Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of enterprise software and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coordinating software delivery projects, working with cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience managing or coordinating software delivery/IT projects.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise software implementation or digital transformation projects.
• CAPM, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
