Job summary

Abacus is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager in Lahore to support the delivery of enterprise software and digital transformation initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional technical teams, maintain plans, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure projects stay within scope and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience coordinating software delivery projects and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software/IT or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience coordinating software delivery/IT projects.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring software implementation and digital transformation projects.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, risk registers, and project status reports.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource utilization.
• Facilitate project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Support requirement gathering, scope management, and change request tracking.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management.
• Collaborate closely with delivery managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on enterprise software implementation or digital transformation projects.
• CAPM, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
