TASDEEQ in Lahore, Pakistan seeks an IT Support Specialist to deliver day-to-day helpdesk and infrastructure assistance across Windows, Linux, networking, VPN, and cloud services. You will troubleshoot issues, assist with user accounts, and coordinate with the IT team to keep systems running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands-on IT support, a Bachelor's in CS/IT, and practical experience with Windows, Linux, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on IT support/system administration experience.
• Practical Windows and networking troubleshooting experience.
• Linux/RHEL experience preferred (may be tested during the technical interview).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to users, offices, and customers.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, desktop, laptop, printer, and application-related issues.
• Configure and maintain user workstations and IT peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access, and basic Microsoft 365/Entra ID tasks.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and LAN/Wi‑Fi issues.
• Provide basic administration and troubleshooting of RHEL/Linux servers.
• Perform basic Linux user, group, permission, and SSH management.
• Monitor server CPU, memory, disk, and filesystem utilization.
• Troubleshoot basic Linux services and application connectivity.
• Check system logs and assist senior administrators with Linux incidents.
• Perform routine server health checks and operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and network connectivity issues.
• Support VPN users and troubleshoot VPN connectivity.
• Perform basic firewall/network troubleshooting under supervision.
• Coordinate with network/security teams for complex incidents.
• Provide IT support to customers/users for VPN and other assigned IT services.
• Support FTP/SFTP connectivity and configuration.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and access-related issues.
• Escalate application/infrastructure issues to the relevant technical team.
• Perform assigned email and OneDrive backup activities.
• Monitor backup jobs and report failures.
• Assist with data recovery/restoration activities when required.
• Maintain backup-related documentation.
• Monitor assigned infrastructure and services.
• Maintain IT asset and support records.
• Follow IT change, incident, and escalation procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in after-hours/on-call support when required.
• Perform any other IT infrastructure/support tasks assigned by the Head of IT & Infrastructure
