Job summary

Outright is seeking a motivated IT Assistant to support daily IT operations in Islamabad. You will troubleshoot issues, install and maintain computers, printers, OS, and related equipment, and provide timely technical support to staff.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in IT/CS, basic hardware/software/network knowledge, familiarity with Windows and Office, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with a night shift 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office, printers, and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of LAN, Wi‑Fi, and basic network configurations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Previous IT support experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, operating systems, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity, system errors, and basic network problems.
• Assist in setting up employee workstations, user accounts, and required software.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain records of IT assets, equipment allocation, repairs, and inventory.
• Assist with data backups, antivirus updates, and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Support the installation and maintenance of company software and applications.
• Coordinate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure the proper use, security, and maintenance of company IT resources.
