ASA Technologies in Lahore invites an IT Support Engineer (Network Support) to join our data center project in Tydal. You will provide L1/L2 network and IT support within the data center, manage rack installations, and collaborate with NOC teams to ensure high availability and secure operations.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on networking experience, proficiency with Cisco/Juniper/Arista gear, and CCNA/Network+ certifications are preferred.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of proven experience as IT Support Engineer / Network Support Engineer / Data Center Technician
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching
• Hands-on experience with network hardware – Cisco, Juniper, Arista or similar
• Experience with cabling, patch panels, QSFPs, and fiber optics
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow) and monitoring tools
• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux OS troubleshooting is a plus
• Relevant certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred
• Fluent in English (Written and Spoken) - Mandatory
• Ability to work independently, in shifts, and handle physical tasks

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 network and IT infrastructure support within the data center environment
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Perform rack & stack, structured cabling (copper & fiber), and hardware installations
• Handle hardware break-fix, RMA, and component replacements (Servers, Switches, Routers)
• Perform patching, cable management, and labeling as per standards
• Document network diagrams, incidents, and work performed in ticketing system
• Collaborate with remote NOC and engineering teams for escalations
• Ensure adherence to data center safety, security, and operational procedures
• Work in 8-hour from 11 AM to 7M onsite in Office
