Job summary

ASA Technologies in Lahore is seeking an IT Support Intern for a one-year assignment focused on data center networking. The role covers L1/L2 support, monitoring LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and hardware installations, with hands-on work on Cisco/Juniper/Arista gear in a busy data center.

English fluency is mandatory, and the position requires on-site work from 11 AM to 7 PM. Training will be provided after onboarding, and the salary will be revised after probation, with opportunities to grow into more

Qualifications

3 months of proven experience as IT Support Engineer / Network Support Engineer / Data Center Technician.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and vendor equipment.
Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools and basic Windows/Linux troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 network and IT infrastructure support within the data center environment
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
Perform rack & stack, structured cabling, and hardware installations
Handle hardware break-fix, RMA, and component replacements (Servers, Switches, Routers)
Perform patching, cable management, and labeling as per standards
Document network diagrams, incidents, and work performed in ticketing system
Collaborate with remote NOC and engineering teams for escalations
Ensure adherence to data center safety, security, and operational procedures
Work in 8-hour from 11 AM to 7M onsite in Office
