Position Summary
The IT Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the IT Department by assisting with technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and IT infrastructure tasks. This internship is designed for students and fresh graduates seeking practical industry experience while developing technical and professional skills in a fast-paced work environment. High-performing interns may be considered for permanent employment upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device problems.
- Assist employees with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office-related technical issues.
- Assist employees with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office-related technical issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members when required.
System Administration & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, and updates under supervision.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
- Support user account setup and basic system configuration tasks.
IT Operations & Asset Management
- Assist with IT inventory management, asset tracking, and equipment allocation.
- Prepare and configure systems for new employees.
- Help maintain organized documentation of IT assets and technical procedures.
- Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Work closely with the IT team to support ongoing projects and operational activities.
- Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
- Participate in technical training sessions and continuously improve technical knowledge.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Requirements
- Intermediate qualification or currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and IT troubleshooting.

- Availability to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Preferred Qualifications
- Up to 3 months of internship or relevant hands-on IT experience.
- Basic knowledge of computer networking, system maintenance, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity practices and IT best practices.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to build a career in Information Technology.
