Job summary

GenZ Talent is seeking an IT Engineer Systems & Network in Lahore, Pakistan to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. The role covers servers, workstations, networking gear, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and security.

You will monitor performance, apply patches, and support end users. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in IT or CS and practical experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS is required.
• Hands-on experience in system and network administration.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
• Monitor LAN/WAN performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, IDS).
• Perform backups, DR operations, and patch management.
• Provide end-user technical support and document procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors for upgrades and IT projects.
• Document infrastructure and SOPs.
